I also learned about Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), which focuses on the overall cost involved, not just the buying price. Other important topics included supplier evaluation, negotiation techniques, and contract management. The course also explained the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process and how it helps in maintaining control and transparency in purchasing. Overall, the course gave me a clear understanding of how procurement can add value to the organization, not just reduce costs. 2. Relevance to My Job / Career This certification is very useful for my role in procurement. It helps me make better decisions while selecting suppliers and managing purchases. I can now look beyond just price and focus on long-term value and risk. For my career, this certification adds credibility and improves my knowledge in procurement and supply chain. It will help me grow into higher roles and handle more responsibilities confidently. It also gives me a better understanding of global sourcing and modern procurement practices. 3. Application of Knowledge I plan to use the knowledge gained in my daily work. I will focus more on evaluating suppliers properly based on quality, delivery, and performance. I will also use TCO concepts to make better cost decisions instead of choosing only the lowest price. I will apply negotiation skills to get better deals and improve supplier relationships. I also want to support better use of P2P systems in my organization to improve efficiency and avoid errors. Overall, I will use these learnings to improve my work and contribute more effectively to my organization’s procurement process.
